Big Sky Summer | June 2026

Big Sky Summer | June 2026

It's not even July yet, the month when I think of our wildflowers thriving, but I took these flower photos on my walk this morning. If Big Sky had an "emerald season", it would be now. Everything is so green and lush and stunning, with temps in the high 70s this week. Meanwhile, we still have nights getting down into the low 30s (just ask my dead tomato plants 😕) so the days never feel too hot. Summer tourist traffic has seen a marked increase in the last week, a sign that school is out everywhere. Yellowstone National Park reported on-track numbers for the month of May compared to prior years, so we expect a busy summer ahead.

As we transition from the end of our shoulder season, we are busy prepping homes coming to the market as the summer real estate market begins to heat up. July through mid-September is some of the busiest times for real estate sales in Big Sky. If you are a Big Sky homeowner thinking about making a change this summer - moving up or down in size, or transitioning to another location altogether - I'd be honored to provide you with a market analysis of your property to see if now is the right time to capitalize on your investment.

If you are still looking for your own mountain getaway, check in with me to make sure I have the most current "want list" for you. If it's not out there publicly, there is a chance that I know someone willing to sell a property that could be a good match.

Please let me know if you are visiting Montana this summer. I love to share this beautiful place and all its hidden secrets with visiting friends and clients!
