Experience (Snowy!) Big Sky

If you stay in touch with the Big Sky Resort news, you have probably seen that Big Sky has gotten hammered with snow in December and early January. 🌨️❄️ For those of us that are big skiers, it's an absolute dream after last season! We have phenomenal snow and lots of it, so if you're still in the planning stages for a ski trip, definitely consider Big Sky - we have had almost 220" so far (as reported by Open Snow).

In the world of real estate, while we saw an uptick in pending properties in December, Q4 2024 ended with almost the same number of pending properties as Q4 2023. December sales were up slightly over the same period in 2023. Anecdotally, we feel that there is more Buyer interest and an increase in showings than the same time last year, so the next quarter will give us a sense of how the rest of 2025 may shape out.

Inventory has grown slightly over last year, however, there are certain areas where there are still few properties available. Ski-in/ski-out remains one of the most sought after, as are properties in Moonlight Basin and Spanish Peaks clubs. I just returned from an incredible three days in Park City with about 25 Sotheby's International Realty colleagues from across the country.
